Hi, I am Lily, a designer having fun building beautiful things.

Over the past decade, I've worked with startups, agencies and public administrations, helping shape their products, websites, and brands at every stage.

About me

Design is an act of understanding.

Not understanding user stories or pain points — understanding people. Their cultures, their contexts, the psychology behind what they trust, what they dislike, and what they desire.

Most design doesn't try. It treats research as a checkbox, optimizes for metrics, and calls it user-centered. Real understanding means holding three things in tension — what the business pushes for, what actually serves people, and what technology allows us to imagine — without letting one crush the others.

Curiosity is a method, not a trait.

I started in graphic design — branding, illustration, visual systems. Then product design pulled me in, and for the last ten years that's been my core: research, UX, UI, building things that work for real people. But I never left the rest behind. Every project takes something different, and I'd rather have too many tools than too few.

That's what being a generalist means to me. Exploring different disciplines is what feeds my thinking and the best way I've found to solve problems. Right now that curiosity is pulling me somewhere new.

I'm looking for projects with people who mean what they say. If that sounds like you, let's talk.
